krsna
I've read in a few books, especially in the Bhagavad Gita, that we should rise above the three modes of material nature and be situated in transcendence. I can understand how the world would be a better place if everyone stopped being ignorant and passionate, however why should people stop being good? My sister suffers from Thalasemia which means she needs a blood transfusion every few weeks. Someone out of goodness is providing that blood. Whats's going on here? krsna
acting in mere goodnes will not free us from this world. yet, while in this world and forced to interact with it, we should certainly act in the mode of goodness for there is less chance for contamination by acting in that way. transcending goodness is acting in goodness while surrendering the results of such activities to Krsna, instead of trying to enjoy them.
