King Herod tries to kill Christ child, King Kamsa tries to kill Child Krsna

Interesting similarity between King Herod planning to kill the Christ child and Kamsa trying to kill child Krishna.

 

When Kamsa learned that Krishna had taken birth elsewhere he sought to kill the all the children who had taken place in the last eight days in the surrounding areas.

 

When Herod learned that the 3 wise men had left without telling him where Christ had been born (he had planned to then have him killed) he ordered the death of all the male children 2 years and under.
