Guest guest
Can there be a fixed Vaishnava calendar, where all the holidays/special events are the same date each year? Isn't the significance in celebrating the event? Getting the day exactly perfect isn't that important, is it? Is a fixed calendar possible? Guest guest
The Vaisnava year is already fixed. It follows the lunar calender. so the days always fall on the same day accoeding to this system. You are proposing to change to a solar calender. There's no need to change it....
Guest guest
They are fixed, that is on the vedic calender. And as it is important have for example ekadasi on the exact dates as they were prescribed by Krishna, they shall stay fixed on the Vedic calender, not on ours.
