Guest guest
Pranam.... I forward one question to your kind attention : Could you please clarify me. 1. Why there are thousands & thousands of demi Gods & Goddesses existed in Hinduism? More, Trinity also existed as Super Powers. The poor devotees are wandering and wandering from one temple to another temple, one God to another God in search of peace. Besides, the astrologers, rishis & yogis also advise them to go to a particular temple saying it is more powerful or pray to a particular God or do some particular offerings to please some particular demi Gods or demi Goddesses. What happens finally is, after following these yogis words and if not finding any peace they become fed up & lose their faith in Hinduism and as such transfers to some other religion where they proclaim the existence of Only ONE God, so nowhere else to go or nobody else there to be pleased. What & why it happens in Hinduism, the oldest, purest & best religion in the world. Pranam.. Aluvila Prasad Kumar
Guest guest
there is only One Truth and God- Brahman. Brahman takes physical forms for the devotees to worship Brahman. Monotheism IS the Hindu idea of God. However God isn't stuck in the sratosphere like in abrahamic religions. God can come down as avatars and spread his message himself- he doesn't need messengers. Don;t lose faith in Hinduism. You must remember that Hindus believe in one God- I can't stress this enough, however the one God can transcend into phisical forms. I'm no expert on Hinduism. I would strongly recommend you going to yor local Mandir if you have any more questions.
Guest guest
Dear Prasad, I feel you are really confused to.... We are in the materilalistic world.....thinking about only the gain in this world.... Thats why we cannot understand things properly. The no. of Gods....all are one .....what we call parasakthi,Prahma,Shiva,Vishnu etc......That socalled power is the Paramatma.....the devine supreme god...the holyness..... Our sanadhana dharma is very broad, accepts all type of believes.... This is about the belief....if u have a strong beleif u will gain the success... I hope u may know about the " Kusumanda Manthram". The beleive on his Guru (teacher)and his word.....The Sishyan(student) he become successful. So its really related to the purity of your belief. How much u are ... Only the offerings to God will not give you a success... The devotee should understand that.... If u do your Karma with Bhakthi and Sradha u will get the result. If we are getting failed, check about yourself r u been in full faith, r u did the things very correctly or taken the very easy part to convince yourself that you had done something. The offerings, poojas,Prayers, Bhajans, Mantras are to find the light in your inner self. You should keep the lamp with the oil and the cotton thread to get it lighjted up. If you have a lamp without oil and thread how u will get the light... If you are a strong beleiver you will not doubt it. and the main thing we have to fill our heart with "prem" and we should eliminate the "aasa" from our heart for the material life. If You understand the theme of sanadana Dharma u cant change...

Guest guest
In this case if there is only one Truth and One God why don't the hindus worship only that One Brahman. If the Demi-Gods have not got absolute power and if they are themselves depending upon the Supreme then why don't all worship only that Brahman and why don't the religion advise the followers to worship only one God. Thanks
