Valmiki and Uttara Kanda

In this book Sage Valmiki details events which transpired after Rama's

return to Ayodhya.

 

The fate of Lakshmana and Lord Hanuman has been mysteriously sketchy

and much of what is told is very brief. Do any one know of original

texts in sanskrit which give an explanation of what happpens to these

two who had a major share in sculpting what happened in the story or

legend of Ramayana?

 

I am also looking for english translations of the seventh book the

Uttara kanda, book 7 which deals with this specifically.
