Views on donors

I was wondering what are the general thoughts towards people donating their bodies for dissection, like in med-school.

Just wondering if there are any specific vedic beliefs. I understand the positon of the body as material vessel, but is it negative to donate body after death ?

 

(P.S - If one were to be doing such dissections, are there any observances to carry out, before entering home temple/deity room - I normally sprinkle ganges water on my head and do acamana....is that ok ? )

 

I would really appreciate any comments, or advice.
