Historical references (outside of bhagvatam) about Caitanya Mahaprabhu?

Are there any other history books or writings that described Caitanya Mahaprabhu as a historical figure when he was present in India?

 

I'm talking about personal accounts/journals/documents etc. that random people may have written as they observed the movement from "the outside"

I'm talking about personal encounters/accounts from everyday people that lived in the areas that He visited.

I don't think that random people would write books about a single encounter when already such great books were in production..

I recall that some Maharaja said that you won't find any historical references of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and his lila in 'history' books or as such. Apparently, only the Gaudiya line has preserved this lila. Dunno which maharaja it was! My memory cant recall it...

 

...the name HH Sivarama Swami Maharaja keeps coming to my mind....! Anyone elses opinions or rather facts?
