Namaste Justin-Ji,

Great to have you in the group. I remember when I was a monk, we used

to go to these morning darshans, and the swamis would give class. So

many people just listened. I used to believe that asking a question

of the swami was actually a seva, since after all, they came all that

way and practiced so hard, to give us guidance. So I would sit in

class, formulate my question, and ask it with devotion, for the

benefit of any and all, including my self.

Spiritual life (and I mean life with an exclamation point) is not

about manners, or letting other's go first, or hoping not to 'bother'

the teacher. It's about getting right out there and putting your heart

on your sleeve, right? If you make a mistake you correct it. But you

keep plucking the strings, picking the trash up, pulling the door

open, and climbing every which way until you get the answer you need,

or the right question out.

I am really interested in seeing what kind of wonderful cosmic puja is

going on in you... stuttering or not.

Maa accepts us regardless of our limitations. Even our limitations are part of our puja. Right?

My Guru said we can even use poison as part of the path. Shiva drank

poison to save the cosmos. A yogi uses limitation and poison as the

fuel for transformation.

Namaste,

I've never posted on a group before. I'm sure it's very

simple/self explanatory, but it might take me a while to formulate

questions (i've got a ton, but my fingers stutter at the keyboard).

Namaste

Jai Ganesha!

I lead chanting in Seattle last night and we all chanted to Ganesha

and sang bhajains also and remembered. I'm not sure how many OM Gam

Ganapataye Namaha we offered, but I'll offer a mala now!

Blessings to you all!

We are all so blessed!

Thanks and praise

Gina
