Guest guest
It takes me 2 hours to recite Chandi these days. A year ago I was 25% faster. Advancing age may have slowed me down to 2 hour recitations. , "astraea2003" <astraea2003> wrote: > Hi Rudran2! > > I wonder what it takes to receive initiation from Shree Maa? > > Maya manipulates most of us. > > The fact that you like doing seva, shows a good heart (I think). Guest guest
A 2 hour Chandi is a fairly well practiced recitation for me. When I started out with the Chandi learning tapes it took much longer. At that time I did only half the Chandi to one asanna. A guy in Rishekesh was doing 7 Chandi recitations per day at about 80 minutes each. Now I am told that he can do it in 67 minutes. The pujas in the skinny Shiva and Durga books can be done in 15 to 20 minutes. The Sahasranimas to Shiva, Laksmi, and Kail can be done in 45 minutes by many. Some people spend 3 hours doing beautiful sing song Chandi recitations. I takes practice to gain Chandi recitation speed. , "astraea2003" <astraea2003> wrote: > Thanks Rudran2 for responding! > Two hours for one recitation of the Chandi! > And I thought the Guru Gita was long (45 minutes)! > > Astraea > > , "rudran2" <stechiekov> wrote: > > It takes me 2 hours to recite Chandi these days.
