Guest guest
Namaste, Things are heating up for Sharad Purnima. Today I am celebrating Lakshmi Puja by getting up at 3am and meditating as the moon becomes full, and offering our goals to Mother Lakshmi under her Chandra prabha / Hiranya varna form. Guest guest
Namaste Kanna, Laksha is the goal and Lakshmi is the goalie...just kidding. Actually, you could think of Her as the One who will receive the goals you shoot. So, sit down and write down your goals for the coming year (it starts tomorrow, Friday). Offer them to Her in prayer and see how She guides you towards them. A great sadhana for thjis day is the Mahalakshmiashtakam, the eight verses in praise of Mahalaksmi. It was posted in the group site. Jai Maa and good luck! Guest guest
Namaste-ji, I am not knowledgeable in the exact types of Sadhana. I am doing regular old mantra offerings. It's the devotion that counts... and I am sure you have plenty. Tonight is going to be simple, but powerful. A combination of energies. First, Traktung Rimpoche is going to initiate a friend of mine into the purificatory light of Vajrasattva, a Buddhist deity. Then she and I are going out under the full moon light to take in Lakshmi's energy, and send that back out via the breath, to all points in the universe, and bless all beings. I am waiting for her now. 2:47am. Chandra Devi goes Purnima in just under an hour.
