Guest guest
namaste friends i have come to the realization that i might not want to be here any longer either, latley i have felt like i'm in "school" or something, don't say this don't talk about that, i understand we came here for guidance and spiritual growth, but as i have stated earlier MY growth consists of all things, i guess i come from a different "place" where we can talk about all things, and all things are of god too. i will hold off a while before i , but i'm leaning towards finding another home. i hope this post doesn't upset anyone because it's not really about religion. and i do hope you all gathered the sarcasim in my last post. om shanti chandra mani
Guest guest
Chandra Mani, Don't leave us! It's so nice to have different perspectives on God/Goddess. Maybe people need to re-read the purpose of this forum again: "The purpose of his group is to provide a meeting place for people to exchange spiritual knowledge..." Some people have a very narrow, dogmatic idea of what constitutes spirituality. Don't let them drive you away. This cyber-satsang is a valuable resource: there's a lot of diverse experience here and a lot of knowledge. I had to laugh when someone objected that I mentioned the name of a rock star here. As if a rock star could not possibly be connected to anything spiritual. Stevie Ray Vaughan was very interested in the healing power of sound and was about to help do serious research on this area of medicine at Yale U. when he was killed. Stevie was a devout Christian, albeit an unorthodox one (he believed in re-incarnation, among other things). Everything leads back to God/Goddess. Guest guest
This is just silly! If people are going to leave every time one or two people have a problem with someone's post (or one of your own), you'll never be part of any group. In any group of any kind there are always people who don't like something. On the web it's your posts; in person it might be the way you clear your throat. It doesn't matter. Try not to take it personally. Unless you start finding volumes of hate mail in your box I wouldn't worry about it. It makes the whole experience a little less enjoyable, I know, but really, if it's worthwhile, then it's worth sticking with it.
