Guest guest
This question comes up a lot in our Chandi classes. No need to worry. From what I learned from Maa and Swamiji this cures just means that if someone uses the Chandi for selfish gains or to harm others ect. they will lose the Chandi as a way to gain self realization. The Chandi Path is an extremely powerful scripture. When I read your post I was a bit shocked at first because I has the same exact dream last night. It was so vivid and all of the same things that you described began to happen as soon as I sat for my Chandi recitation in the dream. The same earthquake and shaking feeling. It's quite amazing and I do believe that it is auspicious. I am going to ask Shree Maa what She thinks. Guest guest
Namaste Astraea, If I remember correctly (and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong), this "curse" refers to chanting the Chandi for selfish reasons and not as a way to reach Her. Technically this duality is darkness, so we just stay in darkness until we chant with true devotion. No need to worry about suddenly finding yourself in a REALLY hot place full of lost souls..... , "astraea2003" <astraea2003> wrote: > I started reading "Chandi Path" for the first time last night. Guest guest
Namaste Astraea, Please forgive me if this is a re-post, but my last one did not seem to stick... Anyways, I believe it's been said that the curse only happens if your motives are selfish as opposed to trying to reach Her. This duality is darkness, so we just stay here until we chant with true devotion and attention, So no need to worry about suddenly finding yourself in a REALLY hot place with lots od lost souls...we're already there! Guest guest
This is very amazing. I have not had dreams in synchronicity in about 10 years along with other aspirants. Truely amazing we are all in sync. My dream last night was of many shakti's trembling against me. They kept saying, "You like to quake don't you?" They were wanting me to join in the quake. I also had a dream 2 nights ago of a high rise about 8 stories high being shaken from an earthquake and bodies falling from the windows. I would hear the thump of the bodies, but when I looked on the ground to see the corpses, no one was there. All the people falling from the windows had smiles on their face. It reminded me of the tarot Atu, The Tower. The ego(Tower) being destroyed by lightening(Shakti) and bodies(thoughts) plunging to their death. In the Motherpeace tarot, the Goddess they place with The Tower is Kali. In Hebrew mystisism, the letter Peh, which is the mouth, lips represents divine speech. I did not understand the shakti dream last night much and there is more detail but it had a slight sensual element to it. Shakti truely was cutting loose in the dream, but asking me if I like to quake and shake was odd. My response in the dream was "Yes! Yes" but confused because these were embodied Shakti bodies shaking against me. Please let us know what Shree Maa thinks. I had a best friend who would have the same dreams I did on the same nights but that was long ago. Astraea, yes there is a current, a strong one. It's nice to feel it and it's nice to see grace manifest in our dreams. I wonder if there was anyone else? Guest guest
Namaste Astrea, I had a similar experience several years ago but instead of humming I saw purple light everywhere. Bed-shaking, the whole thing. The spiritual ecstacy was beyond words. The only thing that stopped the experince was my fear, which i see very clearly now. I believe it was shaktipat, a spiritual "jump start". I didn't know anything about the Chandi back then, but maybe now might be a good time for you to start deepening into even more of a steady, spiritual practice. I think you received a valuable gift, not a nightmare. Jai Maa, you are a lucky girl! Love, Lynne - astraea2003 Friday, October 17, 2003 8:49 PM The Curse in the "Chandi Path" and the Guru I started reading "Chandi Path" for the first time last night. On page 55, sloka 20 reads, "And whoever recites the Chandi Pathah without knowledge or proper understanding, his soul will go to the darkness of hell. Of this there is no doubt."Of course, this upset me deeply! But I'm wondering, if one does not have "knowledge or proper understanding" are they not allowed to study the "Chandi Path"?I'm sure it was reading the "Chandi Path" before falling asleep that triggered the following weird nightmare.I can't really remember the whole nightmare, but the significant part is this:I dreamt I was asleep in bed and I started to hear this strange, loud humming noise in my head, this was accompanied by my whole body shaking violently. The shaking of my body was so violent that the entire bed started to shake, as if there was an earthquake. I felt intense terror and called out to Ammachi. Nothing happened. I called out to Sri Karunamayi. Nothing happened. I called out to God. The shaking stopped instantly and the terror evaporated and was replaced by a strange happiness & feeling of contentment. I'm not sure what this dream means. I HAVE been wondering who my Guru is.I want people to know (if they don't already) that there is a very real spiritual "current" in this cyber-satsang. It amazes me. I feel more "guided" now than I have in a long time.Jaya Maa!AstraeaTo from this group, send an email to:Your use of is subject to the
