Liber 19 or "Siphra-Yichuda"

(The Book of Unity).

"For I am divided for love's sake, for the chance of union" (Liber

AL 1.29)

 

 

1. The holy mystery of the Name, YHVH.

2. Void and Two.

3. Then three and then four. When we arise, four elements are

unified. That is two upper and inner, and two lower and outer. These

are two suns and two moons. Unification of `em is Yoga. "Union of

male and female [principles] is Yoga" (Jnanarnava-tantre 22.68a).

Unity is above and below, that very unity is wholeness and holiness.

For this reason "There is no liberation without maithuna" (Yoni-

tantre 8.2a). It is needed to understand this matter properly and

follow the higher sense. Vama-naya (the Left or Female current) is

indeed Nivritti-naya (the return to the Source). Unite and go above.

Goddess says: "Put on the wings, and arouse the coiled splendour

within you: come unto me!" (Liber AL 1.61). Jnana and bhakti are two

wings, and the wise will realize the hidden meaning of these in

connection to this mystery of Yamala.

4. Yamala is to be on three levels: ichchhA (will), j~nAnI

(knowledge), kriyA (action). These are Kamala, Tara and Tripura, SAUH

AIM KLIM. Only thru proper understanding of the Law "Do what thou

wilt" samyoga will be achieved. Truth is in sAhasa-vR^itti, being

spontaneous. Siddhi is a result of Grace of Lord, nothing else. That

is why the only thing can be done is to wholeheartedly pray (aspect

of ichchA), develop the right logic, sattarka (aspect of j~nAna) and

follow the true niyama, Law of Will. But human can never reach God by

any kind of effort. Divine Grace lifts. Love awakens the heart, then

the serpent raises. This is twofold Kundali. But four are needed,

therefore the mystery of sacred marriage.

5. These prescriptions can be applied to any of three levels of kaula-

sadhana. But it will lead directly to Her only heroes and gnostics.

Then, in the case of divya-sadhaka Yamala may be purely inner,

because he is already living in different world. But this is the way

of a few; then samyoga is happening mysteriously, but process is

exactly the same. Therefore join your beloved, and thus the unity of

the Holy Name is restored.

6. All keys are in your own consciousness. "Therefore always be

unbound by thoughts" (Jnanarnava-tantre 22.74b). Love flowers in

freedom. Behold: upper love without realization is not perfect, but

lower passion without love is misleading. KAma will free, but only

that which is led by Prema.

7. For Yoga brahmacharya is necessary. That includes two points.

First: no indulgence in profane passion and no lustful imagination

and fantasies. Passionate Love, but always "in Her name". "Love is

the law, love under will" (Liber AL 1.57). Second: dwell in joy and

ecstasy! "Bliss is the form of Brahman manifested in body in three

forms", that Brahman we are to follow (brahma-charati) – such is the

interpretation by Shri Abhinavagupta (see Tantra-aloka 29.97-99).

Goddess says: "My ecstasy is in yours" (Liber AL 1.13).

In the co-arisen taste (the taste arisen from the uniting of two) –

merging in Atma, from sports of two bodies – entrance to the non-

created Unity.

 

ekatAnandasamplavAtsamuditabhAve shivavyAptissyAt ..2..

In the state of unification (also, in the aroused and rejoicing

feeling), [resulting] from the overflow of the bliss of union, -

merging in Shiva.

 

shaktyA shivo nAnyat ..3..

It is thru Shakti (also, due to Shakti) – Shiva, not otherwise.

 

ekIbhAvAtparAbhaktirgarIyasI satyameva ..4..

Out of the feeling of Unity – the highest bhakti (love and devotion),

it is in truth the most important.

 

tachchhaktinipAto mahAlayakAraNaH ..5..

The descent of that Shakti is the cause of the great dissolution.

 

svAbhAvikasAhasAtsatyavR^ittirAshrayaH ..6..

Thru being spontaneous and true to your own nature (will, feeling) –

the surrenderence/devotion to the way of Truth.

Live true (Follow Truth).

prema shaktinipAtAchchhaktyA saha shaktyAM

paramasaMvillayAptirAnandayAmalam ..9..

Love – due to the descent of Shakti, thru Shakti and with Shakti;

[in Her] is the merging in the highest consciousness and blissful

Union.

This is true; Truth is good (This is truely Shiva).

9. Let us join to "the company of Heaven" and "serve Lord our God in

joy".

"O Mother, Thou art Wisdom and the most dear, Beloved!

Hath mercy, o Divine Flow of the highest Passion and Love!"

 

Concealed, but Love will open the gate.

 

Love is the law, love under will.

Thank you for the memories. Do what that will shall be the whole of

the Law, Love is the Law, Love under Will. Rememberance.

 

That is a statement to ponder, truely veiled by the exoteric mind!

Thank you for the comforting 93 current that you posted for us. I'm

sure that took great courage as not many are familiar with these

works of this current or know that the western mind

can understand the esoteric workings of Ma in our own understanding.

Kaula sadhana might be put down alot, but it is for the very few.

It's there for a reason for those who it's right for. It takes

courage and understanding and a very sharp mind lest they get biten

by the serpent they want to rise. It also takes the right teacher.

And those even more harder to find, but they are there too. It's all

valid and lets hope we don't get stuck in belief.

 

I do think initiates of this lineage are misunderstood greatly and what you write is true.

When I read Nitya Ma's message about feeling Kali under to stars at

night, I couldn't help but think of Our Lady Nuit.
