Ramakrishna and the orange

In the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna, Ramakrishna compares the

creation to a piece of fruit and Shree Maa demonstrates

holding up an orange. A fruit like an orange has many

parts:the skin, the seeds, the pulp, the fruit, the juice, etc.

Although an orange has many parts it is only one orange. It is

the same way with the creation. The creation has many parts

but there is only one creation. In the same way the parts of a

fruit are all interconnected so are we all interconnected in this

creation.

Hari om.

J'ai Maa!
