Chandi and modified secret

It also says in Kilakam that, "As one gives, so in return does one

receive, and by no other means is She pleased." And later in the

Kilakam, Markendaya lets us know that, "Having understood, one

should commence and practice it; by not performing it, it will

perish. Again by having understood comes fulfillment. This is

undertaken by those who know."

When you do the same Sadhana in the same place and time everyday,

with the same intention, you start to build a greater and greater

focus. I'm sure that we all have felt this to be true. If all of a

sudden you stop the practice you will definitely lose the momentum.

That has been my experience.

Once learning to Chandi and puja in an asanna, it would be agony to

desist. Most all joy coming to me comes from these practices. The

Chandi and the pujas are the best thing I've ever encountered.

By not performing it I will perish. It is what is keeping me alive

these days.

When we do any sadhana it's like cranking an old car. It may take

several rotations with alot of effort to get the motor running.

Similarly, when we do it regularly an energy coniunuum is created

around the disciple, a force field so to speak. Once the car is

running it can take us to our destination. Once our continuum is at

full speed ahead, it's has an energy of it's own and we will reach

the destination by it's own force and then grace. If we break our

continuum of energy in practice, we have to start all over to get the

momentum again and it might me more difficult the second or third time

around. So, to me it's just saying that if we stop, we will have to

put even more effort into getting

the continuum started again, so we shouldn't stop, but keep going until we realize Her.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Diwali.

Today driving to work more of this anaolgy came to me and I thought

I'd share it. I think alot in analogies, so bear with me.:)

I was thinking of the crank car and I remembered that one cranks the

wheel while the other presses the gas peddle. The disciple cranks

the wheel and the Guru is in the drivers seat pressing the gas.

Vroom Vroom, Is this a Bija? :) haha Anyway.. When the Guru knows

the nature of the disciple, the Guru teaches accordingly. So, once

the car is started, the disciple gets in the passanger seat. With

grace, the Guru drives the car as fast as the disciple can handle

it.. Now remember, those cars didn't go very fast, but nevertheless,

if the disciple needs a slower pace, the Guru will drive in order to

not frighten the disciple. If the disciple needs a fast pace, the

Guru matches it to keep the proper momentum to keep the disciples

attention. Hopefully driving at higher speeds doesn't frighten the

Guru:) I liked the analogy because the Guru is in the drivers seat.

Ma feeds her children according to their bellies, so that is why

the Guru in knowing the nature of the disciple, will drive the car at

the right speed in order for the disciple to learn. Some learn

faster than others and vice versa. We all have different bellies.

Jai Maa!
