Guest guest
I found the original (nothing to do with ChandiMaa) on another site , have made some adjustments. My thanks to the unknown author. Latha ----------------------- What is it like to be a devotee of Chandi Maa ? "It is like being a pumpkin. She picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. Then She cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff. She removes the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc., ....and then She carves you a new smiling face and puts Her light inside of you to shine for all the world to see." ----------------------------

I feel like I am all the people I see, even car bandit. I see his face, and I love him intensily. I'm loosing my mind. Oh well, I seem to have lost everything else. Why do I feel good????? This is very strange. I should be miserable. I feel joyous. Have I gone crazy????? And when people come up to me I feel even more elated. Maa, am really loosing it completely. I have never seen a Halloween such as this. And what on earth is with this Mr. Bush?
Guest guest
A pumpkin, well yes she certainly does bring bright fruition, even in trying times. She chases away all guels. Few would dare to duel with her. The comander and cheif of even the newly emerged megapower would be an utter fool to tangle with her. She is so bright and luminous that all before her or her devottee will be brought to light. Ride on her tiger or even her lion. Either of them will carry you through life. I am so happy that Chandi Maa is keeping a two cat garage. Dragon is captured, but not Sctter. Rolling ever forward, so Jai Maa. , Ardis Jackson <anandamama@e...> wrote: > I love that poem! Guest guest
Greetings Latha, Thank you so much for your post on Halloween day; you were obviously in the flow and harmony of Divine Mother's energy and the rest of the Devi Mandir family. A little story: On the afternoon of Halloween, one of the disciples asked if I needed anything from town, and I responded that it would be nice to have a pumpkin. And so when the "Great Pumpkin" (borrowed from the Charlie Brown comic strip) arrived at the ashram, I ceremoniously washed off the dirt. From a distance, in the same room where Shree Maa and Swamiji were conversing, I proceeded to cut off the top of the head and pull out all of the slimy and gunky stuff that was stuck inside. After carving a happy face and a large smiling, toothless grin, a small shining candle was placed inside. The "Great Pumpkin" was then set on a golden platter, and placed near the center of the main altar in the temple. An orange carnation was offerred and placed on Her head, and She was ready for the evening arati. Just at that time, Nandu carried into the temple a copy of your daily post. And so after the evening arati and meditation was completed, I requested from Shree Maa permission to read one of the daily posts from the chat room. She looked at me inquisitively, and I assured her that it was inspirational. Your little post brought smiles on the faces and in the hearts of Shree Maa, Swamiji, and all of the disciples attending the Halloween Eve arati. Thank you for the reminder of just how "universal" and playful our CHANDI MA is! Love, Kamala
Guest guest
The wheeled pumkin has been restored to me unharmed. It was a drama of hiramic propotions. Guest guest
Namaste Rudran, I loved the 'two-cat garage' but everything else in your post is mysterious to say the least . Would you explain in more understandable terms ? Thanks. Latha , "rudran2" <stechiekov> wrote: > The wheeled pumkin has been restored to me unharmed. It was a drama > of hiramic propotions.
