Its a relationship between you and the deity who is nothing but manifestation of a form you have in you, you please that form doing all kinds of things - Rituals, Singing, Reading, Behaviour, Seva, Witness Him/Her in everything with Lots of Love and Compassion, .... or sometimes just looking silently looking into His/Her Eyes as a Beloved would .... and if a Tear Drop or Stream flows doesn't matter - That's Pure Love for your deity in a form or formless. To me Puja has no Beginning, no Middle and no End .... sometimes it's just I (Who Am I? - Atma Bodh) who is trying to express my Love and that's also the wish of Deity HimSelf / HerSelf. I'm no longer tied to one or the other method of worship, I just cultivate the Love for God and let it flow in any method for any form. Now If I look back I understand why I kept changing my prayers, deities, expressions and my emotions in last few years. Just make it natural affair between you and Him or Her [doesn't really matter]. In Om we begin, we live and we end - but at the same time its not O ... M but truely what it represents! Guest guest Posted November 10, 2003 Report Share Posted November 10, 2003 Someone once said when you Puja, God listens to you so be careful what you do and say ... but when you meditate you listen to God ... so one way communication with anyone is not always productive .... For me though, after a while those (various) prayers sounded to me like quest for pleasure (of some kind or other) ... and sometimes it appeared that God was saying "Oh! Here you come again ... " - so I had to change prayers again ... and I decided I'll listen to the God more with Love and that has become my Puja most of the times.
