Guest guest
greetings, there is a first time for everything, this is one of those. #1 where does personal interest arise from or, in another word, what is the source of personal interest? #2 inspiration follows in the footsteps of personal interest; for sustainable inspiration does one need to be active in a field of per sonal interest? Guest guest
You might be wanting Swamiji's answer but if you are asking the forum I think it comes from samskara's as well as some astrological influences. Also we pick things up from our parents too with what we are influenced with as a child. Jai Maa! Guest guest
In the begining it was HER... SHE wanted to experience HERSELF... SHE gave birth to HER creation... SHE danced with HER inspiration... now it is me(you)... I(you) want to experience myself(yourself)... I(you) give birth to my(your) creation... I(you) dance with my(your) inspiration... what is the difference?... SHE and me(you)... Who is SHE?... my MOTHER says, "I am HER"... Who am i?... my MOTHER says i am HER... i love my MOM... so i say i am HER son... SHE says, "say you are ME"... i say you are my MOM... SHE says, "you and ME are ONE"... i say i am YOUR son... SHE says, "what a sweet burden you are"... i dance with JOY... what is the difference?... SHE and me... SHE is EVERYTHING... i am still HER son... what about you?... Guest guest
Hi Kiran, Your questions got me thinking. I dont know the answer to the first one , but here is my 2 cents on the second one. Inspiration comes first , but unless followed by action the inspiration may or may not be sustained to various degrees. For example ( I am over generalizing here but to express a point ), a lot of American boys when growing up express an interest in football. But if the same sample of boys were looked at 10,20 years later, not all of them would have had careers in the game. Some of them would have become content to watch Monday night games, the others to coach their kids , the others to backyard games on weekends, others would have simply lost interest , and may be a handful would have made it as players in the big scene. What is the difference - luck and opportunity , certainly, but the only thing that is under our control is our action/our motivation to keep the spark alive. The same interest , but different results due to varying degrees of application. What you give is directly proportional to what you get. Guest guest
For some reason people avoid stating the truth. Or they come back with a "yes, but" that negates the Truth. I think Nandu knows this to be true and it is evident from his lovely poetry. Even if it wasn't evident, it would still be the Truth. People get attacked for having such simple self awareness by those who get caught up in nettlesome crows of mind. It seems to be a method of self preservation amongst devotee's to avoid standing in the absolute or what they know is Truth. Instead it feels safer to play another role in order to avoid ridicule by those who would stomp on pearls. There are many devotees who can recognize pearls and then there are those who enjoy stomping on them. All are devotee's but with different awareness. My Guru says, "when we are feeling strong, "I am That" when we feel a little weak, "Maa, how I need you and love you" I have to agree I toggle between the two. The person who has tasted a grain of sugar has the same awareness as the person who has taken a spoonful. It doesn't mean afterwards the person who has taken the spoonful is any more aware than the person with who received a grain. I can tell you when "I am That" it irks people who need that to not be true. For those who know it to be true it's a relief! So, being the child is good, Being Maa is good too. Let's just hope all bhava's are supported instead of trampled on this time. I totally appreciate your frankness and honesty and your willingness to state the Truth as well as encourage a fellow sadhaka. Thanks for being here. I don't know you, but like Parvati said, It's long over due. Namaste, Kelly steven klayman <thedoc108 > wrote: Nandu,So why can you not say it?Intellectually you know it.
