Guest guest
dear kelly, I thought your take on the Nandu thing was right on. I liked the quote from your guru. Nandu is very humble and extreeeeeeeeeeemly devoted to Shree Maa and Swamiji. I mean that from his actions. He asks for nothing and gives and does everything. He works so hard that I have seen him dose off standing up on a scaffold 20 feet off the ground leaning against a wall!!! Talk about scary! When we build the temple in the spring I am going to request he not be permitted to work higher than 2 feet off the ground and only with a buddy and he be chained to his bed for at least 4 hours a nite. He is a great example for all. Namaskar sidd Message: 13 Wed, 5 Nov 2003 19:25:57 -0800 (PST) Kelly Leeper <blissnout Re: Re: personal interest Sidd, For some reason people avoid stating the truth. Or they come back with a "yes, but" that negates the Truth. I think Nandu knows this to be true and it is evident from his lovely poetry. Even if it wasn't evident, it would still be the Truth. People get attacked for having such simple self awareness by those who get caught up in nettlesome crows of mind. It seems to be a method of self preservation amongst devotee's to avoid standing in the absolute or what they know is Truth. Instead it feels safer to play another role in order to avoid ridicule by those who would stomp on pearls. There are many devotees who can recognize pearls and then there are those who enjoy stomping on them. All are devotee's but with different awareness. My Guru says, "when we are feeling strong, "I am That" when we feel a little weak, "Maa, how I need you and love you" I have to agree I toggle between the two. The person who has tasted a grain of sugar has the same awareness as the person who has taken a spoonful. It doesn't mean afterwards the person who has taken the spoonful is any more aware than the person with who received a grain. I can tell you when "I am That" it irks people who need that to not be true. For those who know it to be true it's a relief! So, being the child is good, Being Maa is good too. Let's just hope all bhava's are supported instead of trampled on this time. I totally appreciate your frankness and honesty and your willingness to state the Truth as well as encourage a fellow sadhaka. Thanks for being here. Guest guest
Yes, Nandu is very sweet and teaches much from his simplicity. If Maa could only endow me with poetic grace like He. It's very apparent to me that He is very close to the Divine Mother on all levels. That He Is, is True:) Thanks for responding. Sometimes I speak with loads of passion but my heart is sweet, what happens after it leaves my lips I sometimes don't get:) Another lesson from Nandu and hopefully one day I will have learned by his example. It takes repetition, so keep those lovely poems coming Nandu. Pranams, Namaste,Kellysteven klayman <thedoc108 > wrote: dear kelly,I thought your take on the Nandu thing was right on.
