Guest guest
Kiran, Although it's been a while since you posted your question, I hope I understood it correctly to be asking whether one's interest in something gives rise to inspiration, or is it the other way around? Something that Shree Maa related recently may be appropriate to consider here. Maa said that when one gives freely, when WE are giving freely, completely from our hearts with no expectation of return, then automatically, ALL that we need comes to us (patience, wisdom, the ability or talent to create, love, inspiration, material possessions, all inner wealth etc). When we are GIVING in that way, then what we need (not always what we want) just flows to us. It seems to me that this is a Law of the Universe. Just take a brief moment to review the history of your own life, and see if this is true. Have you ever noticed that even in the desert, incomparable beauty and unlimited abundance in the right season can be found. Blessings on your treasure hunt. Sincerely, Kamala
Guest guest
kamala, thank you. the answer you gave was well put. sooo... how does one cultivate the mode of generousity? eventhough it may be clear that `what we sow we will also reap'yet the inclination to think and act selfishly still lingers. with appreciation, kiran
