Ruchi,

Welcome to the Group; I read your question when you first posted a

couple of weeks ago, and have been thinking about it. I posted a

little personal story about surrender, Msg. #697 before you came aboard

that might be relevant. Also, you might have picked up from the posts

on this group, that many of us connected with the Devi Mandir chant the

Chandi Path, (She Who Tears Apart Thought), a Puranic scripture that

dates back between 900 and 500 BC. This scripture's primary mantra

which runs throughout is knows as the Navarna Mantra: "Om Aim Hrim Klim

Chamundayai Vicce". We make daily japa (recitation) of this mantra

as often as we can throughout the day to remind us to surrender our ego

in every action and circumstance, and the vibrations of chanting this

mantra (especially while using pranayam, controlled breathing) actually

help to dissolve our bondage to our attachments that are unhealthy, or

that no longer serve our higher purpose. This mantra calls on the

Divine Mother energy of the universe, which is a combination of

creative, preserving, and transformational energy, and is ALWAYS in

constant movement. This mantra carries us into that transformational

energy, so we eventually come to perceive Consciousness as She does.

Wow!

When we yield to that energy, when we are in the flow of that energy,

when we become aware of our own resistance to CHANGE, when we surrender

our unhealthy attachments and negativities to Her, then we purify, then

we have PEACE! Just some thoughts on the subject. May the Divine

Mother bless you with light and persistance. Kamala
