Guest guest
I found this in the "Gems of Wisdom" compiled by our own Parvati Saraswati. -------------------------------- " The difference between a disciple and devotee is that the devotee comes to sit at the feet of the Guru but doesnt change his life. But the disciple takes the wisdom of the Guru and changes his life striving to become a mirror image of the Guru. " The question is " Have I changed at all after meeting my Guru ? What changed ? " For me the one word answer is "Everything" . But specifically I learnt three practical laws 1) Never talk behind a person's back. 2) Never hate anyone. 3) Always look inside for the solution to the problem outside. I would love to know what changed in your life after you met your Guru.
Guest guest
Great topic, Latha. I wish to give it some deeper thought before I answer. But I wanted to get back to you with my love and blessings for your sankalpa. May your sadhana be filled with joy and selflessness, leading always to the Self.
