To all those that blessed my sankalpa - my Pranams and heartfelt

thanks to you. Day 2 went by with success.

I was feeling a bit awkward asking for your good wishes and

blessings - that is because I know some of you personally and was

feeling " What if so-and-so thinks I am being cute - asking for

blessings. What if they think 'Why cant she just be quiet and do her

sankalpa ?' "

Then I calmed myself down - Swami has done it and so I did it - end

of story. And also to paraphrase my favorite scientist

Dr. Feynman "What do I care what other people think?" . Apparently a

lot.

In someways it is a lot easier when the recipients are anonymous, I

dont know you from the next guy or gal I meet. You could be the

person that I cut while driving down the street, it doesna matter.

I saw this cute verse on the web about online friendships and wanted

to pass it on. Have a nice day.

My acknowledgement and thanks to the unknown author.

We sit and we type and we stare at our screens.

We all have to wonder, what this possibly means.

We chat with each other, we share all our woes,

Small groups we do form and gang up on our foes.

We wait for somebody to type out our name,

We want recognition and offer the same.

We give kisses and hugs and sometimes we flirt,

In rooms we chat deeply and reveal why we hurt.

We form friendships but why is a thing we don't know,

Though most often flounder some will flourish and grow.

Why is it that on screen, we can all be so bold,

Telling our secrets that have never been told?

Why is it we share those deep thoughts in our mind

With those we can't see, as though we were blind?

The answer is simple, it's as clear as a bell.

We all have our problems and need someone to tell.

We can't tell "real" people, but tell someone we must

So we turn to the 'puter, and to those we can trust.

Even though it is crazy, the truth still remains,

These are friends without faces and with odd little names
