Odd Synchronicities

Had to share this: Thursday night (Nov 13) I started to read the last

bit of "At the Eleventh Hour" (bio of Swami Rama) by Pandit Rajmani

Tigunait. On the last page, in the very last sentence of the book it

says that Swami Rama died on Nov 13. I was rocked! I had no idea.

It's just one of these oddball coincidences that I would finish

reading Swami Rama's bio on the Seventh Anniversary of his death.

This reminds me of another coincidence of this sort:

Some years ago, I started reading "Daughter of Fire: A Diary of a

Spiritual Training with a Sufi Master" by Irina Tweedie. On the very

FIRST page of the diary, at the top, the date reads "2nd October,

1961". I was stunned! October 2nd (1982) is the day Swami Muktananda

died and 1961 is the year that Swami Muktananda's Guru, Bhagavan

Nityananda died. It just struck me as too weird.

More recently, I had been obsessed with finding copies of an old TV

show called "Adventures in Paradise" which originally aired in

October 1959. I was a little kid living in upstate New York at the

time. (For some reason, this show just haunted me.) At the same time

I located & ordered copies of "Adventures in Paradise", I started

reading another bio of an American "spiritual teacher"

entitled "Rudi:14 Years with My Teacher" (bio of Swami Rudrananda) by

John Mann. His book begins in OCTOBER 1959 in NEW YORK!!

Just weird dovetails. I don't know what it means (if anything) unless

the Universe is telling me NOTHING is accidental! Every detail of

life is pre-ordained?

Here is another (in my mind) odd one :-

I was browsing through a book on Ramana Maharshi this evening. Then I

call my mom back in India - havent talked with her in a while. She

picks up the phone and I hear the CD player in the background with a

song dedicated to .. you guessed it Ramana. If that wasnt coincidence

enough, after I get off the call, I open the latest newsletter from

Shirdi Sai website and they have an article on , correct again "The

Sage of Arunachala" ...

Three times in one day ... how often does that happen ?

Looks like Ramana is trying to come into my life. WELCOME BHAGWAN !

Namaste Latha,

What a wonderful thing to have Ramana Maharshi present in your life.

He is one of the saints on my main altar. The young foreign seekers

who flocked around Ammachi 20 or more years ago, were gathered at

Arunachala before they found Ammachi. I think Ramana Maharshi's grace

is very present in the Ammachi group.

Isn't it strange how things seem to interconnect?
