Guest guest
Namaste to all: We get up in the morning and do our puja, and even though the puja evolves over time, it's the daily repetition that makes it get better and better. The mantras come more easily, and the bhava gets higher and higher with each new day. In the evening, after being out in the "marketplace of human existence", as Swami-Ji calls it, we re - connect with Arati, or chanting, or satsang of some type. Thus the day is complete in a full cycle; starting out with divinity, and ending up with divinity also. But the real trick to all of it is, when we get up from the morning puja, to be able to keep "puja" going through the day. It's still a puja, just a more improvised one. In other words, the fruits of our worship can come when we're not at the shrine or alter, but after we've gotten up. The austerity is: being able to remember HER when all the whirling activity of Maya is going on during the "worldly" part of the day. When we can make our whole day, including the part in between morning puja and evening arati become "puja", then our worship is really getting great! That's easier said than done. What an austerity. By Maa and Swami's grace, may I be able to keep "puja" in my heart all day long! Jai Maa! Guest guest
Dear Nirmalananda, Reading your post , I am reminded of what Swamiji says "The purpose of this life is to remember God all the time and all our Sadhana and austerities are designed to do just that". You have captured his essential teaching. Guest guest
Yep, puja is the best reason to get up in the morning and also the best reson to go to sleep at night to rest so as to wake to yet another more invigorated puja the next morn. It is always fun to then witness all manner of magic happening in the course of the days that follow. Puja is a happening, and the happenings are probably fruits of puja too. , "Latha Nanda" <lathananda> wrote: > Dear Nirmalananda, > > Reading your post , I am reminded of what Swamiji says "The purpose > of this life is to remember God all the time and all our Sadhana and > austerities are designed to do just that". > > You have captured his essential teaching. > > Love > Latha > > > , nirmalananda@s... wrote: > > Namaste to all: > > > > We get up in the morning and do our puja, and even though the puja > evolves over time, it's the daily repetition that makes it get better > and better.
