Guest guest
I use Mudras as part of my daily worship. I am not entirely sure of their significance or meaning. Can somebody explain ? Thanks in advance. Latha
Guest guest
Latha, As I understand it, mudras represent/produce states of consciousness or channel flows of energy. The most accessable way to understand it might be the example of a smile. A smile both represents an inner condition that is already there, and tends to produce that condition. Guest guest
I never thought a smile was a mudra but you are so right! My boyfriend does mudra all the time and his hands are so flexable from doing it all these years. From what I know they do open energy channels but I think the best way to use them is to hold the mudra for a period of time, but I'm not sure. My boyfriend's second book is on tantric technicalities with puja. His friend and him are both artists and so they've been drawing pictures of mudra's for several years now getting ready for the book to be published. It should be out in about a year. I'm no expert at puja or mudra. Puja is not really my sadhana in a formal puja sense. It is for my boyfriend though.Chris Kirner <chriskirner1956 > wrote: Latha,As I understand it, mudras represent/produce states of consciousness or channel flows of energy.
