Guest guest
Dear Kamala, Thank you for the wealth of information. Can you also please clarify on the Rudraksh? I have some old rudraksh that I am not using anymore , but dont want to offer to the deity what I have already used. Can you please clarify the ways to purify a rudraksh and offer it to others? FYI, the rudrakshes that I have extra are the ones that I have from Swamiji from Sivaratri, Navaratri etc and I am a bit hesitant about purifying them and giving them out. What do you suggest? Thank you again, Love Latha , "kamalama_2002" <kamalama_2002> wrote: > Greetings Latha, > I hope the following info will be helpful for your puja > tomorrow night: > 1) While reciting the appropriate mantra, you tie the sacred thread > (often a thick red thread like embroidery thread) around the right > wrist (for males) or left wrist (for females) of the person(s) for > whom you are performing the puja in a simple knot. > > 2) When reciting the sankalpa part of the puja, after you say the > tithi (name of the day), then you say the gotra (the family name) of > the person, then you say "your Sanskrit name krtaitat", then "the > other person's name krtaitat" if they are going to be participating > in the performance of the worship with you. > > 3) You can invite the other person to participate in the worship as > much or as little as you wish. Guest guest
Rudrakshas Rudrakshas are nature's gift to mankind. They have tremendous energy and power. Rudrakshas have been worn by our ancient Sadhus and Gurus since the last 5000 years to obtain spiritual powers and blessings of Nature. Rudrakshas are the most powerful and sure-shot medium to fulfill one's wishes and desires, provided one is wearing the right type and quality of Rudrakshas, which are also powerful and have been purified after puja. It is sad that some ignorant people treat them to be just scientific items. Others sell it as a commercial commodity, and treat it the same. Beware of such ignorant souls. Be careful that 95 % of Rudrakshas available in market are either 'khandit' or fake and are made of wood. A fake Rudraksha does not harm anybody but a 'khandit' or defective Rudraksha can even kill a person, since it is full of negative energies. Real Rudrakshas are very rare and very holy and auspicious. They are also very very powerful. Following are the kinds of Rudrakshas which are generally available in this age. One-faced Rudraksha - Power, authority, wealth and all comforts of life. Eradication of all troubles & problems, attainment of peace of mind, true happiness, success, 'Siddhi' and 'Moksha'. Has the power to bless one with almost anything one desires. Improves 'karma' and destiny. This Rudraksha is the rarest & most difficult to obtain. Two-faced Rudraksha - Ends 'tamsic' habits, increases spiritual power, blesses one with peace of mind and happiness. Three-faced Rudraksha - Freedom from bad luck & diseases, blesses one with good luck, wealth and education. Four-faced Rudraksha - Increases intellect, power of speech and stimulates mind. Increases sexual energy, power of attraction & Vashikaran. Five-faced Rudraksha - Blessings of Deities, increase of positive influences in life, fulfillment of all desires, achievement of objectives and freedom from diseases. Six-faced Rudraksha - Success in business, education & examination, and achievement of all comforts of life. Also cures hysteria & other mental disorders. Seven-faced Rudraksha - Respect, wealth and spiritual power. Protection from untimely death, despair, diseases, worries. Removal of obstructions in success. Eight-faced Rudraksha - Removal of past sins, bad luck and obstructions. Increases good luck and blessings. Nine-faced Rudraksha - Enjoyment of wealth, family comforts and children's welfare. Helps in fulfillment of desires and bent towards spiritualism. Ten-faced Rudraksha - Protects from malefic influences of planets and all other evil effects like black magic, ghosts, spirits etc. Removes all negativity from life. Eleven-faced Rudraksha - For exceptional strength, power, energy and wealth. Blesses one with a progressive and wealthy spouse, increase charisma & attraction power. Twelve-faced Rudraksha - Removal of obstacles, sins & fears, protection from enemies & mis-haps, increase in employment opportunities, comforts and blessings of Deities. Thirteen-faced Rudraksha - Good health, wealth, assets, property and comforts of life. Increase in mental power, cosmic strength and spiritual energy. Fourteen-faced Rudraksha - Cures diseases, bestows all comforts and luxuries of life, and a high position of power & authority. Fifiteen-faced Rudraksha - Health, wealth, power, energy, prosperity, elevation of soul and increase in spiritual power. Blesses one with true happiness and inner peace, leads one to the right path, improves 'karma', destiny and future. Any one interested in procuring most powerful and authentic Rudrakshas can write about their requirement to contact. - "Latha Nanda" <lathananda <> Thursday, December 04, 2003 11:03 AM Re: Latha's Request for Puja Info - Rudraksha > Dear Kamala, > Thank you for the wealth of information.
