Guest guest
Haribol! Jai Ma! Can anyone give me proper guidance for practical japa? I know that padmasana is the best (which leg should be on top?) and the mala should be holded near the heart. Is there any good mudra? I thank you all for any help! I am a Gaudiya-Vaisnava and am initiated into the Nityananda Gauranga Mantrarajas*. Pranam. Hare Krsna! Mukunda Gauranga dasa P.S I know that Mukunda means "giver of liberation" but is there any other meaning? * www.gaurangadharma.org

Guest guest
Even when you cross your legs "indian" style, one leg is always on top. Same with Padmasana. How could it be otherwise, if you think about it. - Amu Tuesday, January 06, 2004 2:14 AM Re: Practical Japa Isn't padmasana supposed to have both legs crossed? So how is any leg on top? Just curious.
