Guest guest
Namaste All, On the Hindu calendar 6 and 7 January 2004 were listed as Full moon however on the Western calendar only one day - 7 January - is listed as Full moon. Can anyone explain the affects of this to westerns engaged in eastern practices? Jai Maa
Guest guest
The calendars that we are using show the Sanskrit day prevailing at sunrise on the calendar day. Therefore, it is full moon starting at sunrise on the 6th and ending after sunrise on the 7th. Observe the puja on the 6th. , "kaliananda_saraswati" <kaliananda_saraswati> wrote: > Namaste All, > > On the Hindu calendar 6 and 7 January 2004 were listed as Full moon > however on the Western calendar only one day - 7 January - is listed > as Full moon.
