Please savor these verses of the Guru Gita. Page 166

If Shiva is angry, The Guru can remove {that anger}, but if the Guru

becomes angry, Shiva cannot. Therefore, by means of every effort

take refuge in the respected Guru.

The Guru alone is the entire perceivable universe, the soul of

Brahma, Visnu, and Shiva manifest. There is nothing greater than the

Guru. Completely worship your Guru.

What an incredible thought and concept. The Guru is the embodiment

of all existance, and the cause fo all existance. Wrapped in a

shimmering Earthly form, all consciousness exposed for our gaze and

salvation, She walks this Earth, and takes us in Her arms.

The mountains sing Her might, the ocenans speak ceaselessly of Her

grace, and the trees bow to Her beauty.

All creation is She, and She is the creator.

Please add other verses that stir your heart and soul.

I have no birth, I have no death.

Ageless I am forever one.

Chidananda the blissful Self,

I am all things so the Guru knows.

I am the pure the eternal One.

Before the creation of life I was.

I am the spirit that forms all things.

Forever blissful forever One.

The fruit obtained by bathing in the seven oceans and all places of

pilgrimages, etc., cannot compare with one thousandth part of one

drop of water from the toe of the Guru, which is difficult to obtain.

Yes, yes dear ones,

And the real secret is that only when the understanding of the power of the

Guru's

feet dawns in the sky of the heart of the devotee, does it become so. Disciples

Grace

is an important ingredient of the catalyst.

Dear Vish,

I re-read the Guru Gita after a long time today. This is the verse

that stood out for me ,Pg 175 verse 102 from the Guru and the

Goddess.

"Do not give up the Guru, even if he moves according to his own

rhythm."

All too often I try to understand the workings of the Guru's mind

based on my own limited perceptions. Then I remember that the

external Guru's only purpose is to lead me to the inner Guru and

(s)he will do what what is needed to accomplish that goal. And I may

not be able to understand why s(he) acts the way s(he) does

sometimes - I have to trust that s(he) acts for the best of motives.

I wasn't making any claims to enlightenment, I was just quoting two

verses from the Guru Gita (SYDA version) that I find inspiring. I

would like to know the name of the master you were referring to, with

contact information, web address if possible. Thank you.

Gaurav,

Why treat your brother with disrespect? His words were beautiful.

Here we try to inspire one another, not put each other down.

If one has been lucky enough to see even a picture of Shree Maa or

Swamiji, then one has seen the same divine light that Arjun saw with

Krsna. If one has heard Their Bhajans, then one has heard the same

Divine Music which Chaitanya Mahaprabhu heard, sang and danced to.

If one has tuned into Their Bhav within thru any sadhana spurred on

by Their Inspiration, then one has drank the same Divine Water that

Meera drank and heard the same Name which Draupadi chanted.

Being thus, one's life is already a success and keeps getting better

as one travels further and further down this Infinite Path.

Jai Maa!

Dear Surya,

We are so blessed to have seen, heard, sang and danced and drank of

the Divine Water and heard the same Name which Draupadi chanted

within. Unbelievably blessed. To have answered Their call and found

Them in this lifetime. I wanted to answer this to Gaurav but I didn't

want to "brag" about our teachers. You have spurred me on to speak

the truth.

Jai Maa!

Re: Guru Gita

I wasn't making any claims to enlightenment, I was just quoting two

verses from the Guru Gita (SYDA version) that I find inspiring. I

would like to know the name of the master you were referring to, with

contact information, web address if possible. Thank you.

Re: Guru Gita

gr8 ,

if u r that then its gr8 but have u seen that divine light which arjun

saw when Krishna imparted that knowledge to him , have you heard that

divine music which Chaytanya Mahaprabhu heard and danced, have you

drank that divine water which Meera drank, have you heard that name

which Draupadi chanted. If yes ur life has succeeded and u should

move on that path, and if you have ONLY heard about these things and

not PRACTICALLY realised these things then you should search such a

master who can make u PRACTICALLY realise these things and mind u he

is here on this earth .!!!

Ask and u will be told, Seeks and u will be shown"

Search and u will find him ..>>>!!

Guru Gita

NamastePlease savor these verses of the Guru Gita. Page 166If Shiva is

angry, The Guru can remove {that anger}, but if the Guru becomes

angry, Shiva cannot. Therefore, by means of every effort take refuge

in the respected Guru. The Guru alone is the entire perceivable

universe, the soul of Brahma, Visnu, and Shiva manifest. There is

nothing greater than the Guru. Completely worship your Guru. What an

incredible thought and concept. The Guru is the embodiment of all

existance, and the cause fo all existance. Wrapped in a shimmering

Earthly form, all consciousness exposed for our gaze and salvation,

She walks this Earth, and takes us in Her arms. The mountains sing Her

might, the ocenans speak ceaselessly of Her grace, and the trees bow

to Her beauty. All creation is She, and She is the creator. Please add

other verses that stir your heart and

soul.Jai MaaVishweshwarTo visit your group on the web, go

I hope Madan (who posted this file) can answer the source of the

file.

For the purposes of the group sankalpa on Guru Poornima, many of us

will be following the Guru Gita in "Shree Maa. The Guru and The

Goddess ".

For anyone that needs this book - it contains the Kashyap Sutras and

Lalita Trishati along with the Guru Gita and I highly recommend it.

It is available at http://www.shreemaa.org/bookstore.htm

JAI MAA !!!
