Guest guest
JANUARY 25, Sunday is SARASWATI PUJA. It is the 5th day of the winter navaratri which begins on Wednesday, January 21. (This is also a good time to take a 9 day sankalpa.) There are 4 Navaratris throughout the year. The two big ones are celebrated in the fall and the spring. There are two smaller ones in the winter and summer. We celebrate them all. The up and coming Saraswati Puja is very auspicious. Here, people offer their books, musical instruments, computers, various projects, art work, etc.to Saraswati to be blessed. In India, this is a big day for students. If anyone is interested to learn Saraswati puja before this big day please let me know. We can conduct class on line. We have a Saraswati Puja book for Children available. It is also a great book for adults as well. The book can be ordered through our website at shreemaa.org. May Saraswati bless us all with more wisdom!!!! OM SANG SARASWATYAI NAMAH!
Guest guest
Thank you so much, Parvati Saraswati! Yes, I'd love to take the class on line. I will be sure I have the book, too. Om sang saraswatyai Namah! By the way, is it also appropriate to say Om aim saraswatyai namah?...that's how I've chanted it. Thanks and praise to the Beautiful Ma! Jai! Guest guest
Jai Maa parvati saraswati! I also would love to be part of an online class of Saraswati Puja. I have had the book for about a year, and have chanted it 4 times, but have much to learn about the actual performance of it. Would this be done through the chat room, or through a series of emails back and forth? Thank you for the kind and generous offer.
