Guest guest
Kashyapa Sutra Kashyapa was a great Rishi. In fifteen simple sentences, full of pregnant meaning, he has covered almost all that is needed by a human to start his journey towards God consciously and with vigor. Swamiji’s commentary on it has further enhanced its value and has made it a must for every ‘Sadhak‘ to read and digest. For any spiritual growth, ‘sadhana’ is of course needed. General principles of it (Yam & Niyam) are given in scriptures very explicitly. However every one has to work out his/her unique path. Guru helps in finding it and encourages a person with love to keep on to it till the goal is reached. But whatever a sadhak may do, final achievement is in the hands of God and His Grace. One of the sure ways of attracting it is by doing ‘Tapasya’. ‘Puja, Path, Japa, Sewa (selfless work)’, speaking truth always are all forms of ‘Tapasya’. May God illuminate and purify our minds and give us strength to continue faithfully with our Tapasya! Guest guest
Om ! I have been following with some interest on two parallel threads - Guru Gita and Kashyapa Sutra. Yes, it is true . Fifteen sentences and contains everything. And the entire Guru Gita is a commentary on the 15th Sutra which says "srigurunaathaha sarvakaaranakaaranam " .The respected Guru is the cause of all causes.
