Thanks to all of you who responded to my post about "Sakali Tumar

Iccha". Thanks especially to Kali for providing the words. Today I

ordered the Ramprasad CD and I'm looking forward to hearing the other

songs on it. I wish I could find better words to describe the

feeling that listening to Shree Maa's wonderful singing evokes in me,

but I'm sure you all know what I mean.

I have enjoyed following the discussions here for the last several

weeks. I look forward to getting to know some of you better over

time.

Love and Jai Ma,

Dharmananda

Dharmananda,

Hope to get to know you too. Do check out "Jaya Jaya Jayadeka" song

by Maa - I think it plays on the Shree Maa Radio Station too.

http://www.shreemaa.org/radio.htm

I have heard Maa sing that song "Jaya Jaya Jayadeka" during

Shivaratri .

Visualize this - it is around 3 am in the morning , all the pujas are

over. Bhajans all night . People struggling to keep awake. And

then ... amidst all the "Jai Maa" and the "movin and shakin"

bhajans ... there is this one song "Jaya Jaya Jayadeka". It doesnt

cause people to dance, quite the contrary, it makes everyone so

silent.

It is sung with so much feeling ... and stirs a certain wistfulness

in my heart. That song is full of longing for Lord Shiva. Hear it and

you might understand what I am trying to inadequately express here.
