Guest guest
this earth, this place. the pain we must face. and with realization, such as the divine mother ... such wings we are given to fly. then the knowing, all these beings are both perfect and broken. all. all beings here. none are completely free of this. yet we have this vision, this potential, this aliveness. so many good things. we go with the good things. and acknowledge the limitations. this is discrimination in action, and perhaps, even some form of teaching. it certainly is learning! peace, love to all as emanations of divine being. steve c. Guest guest
Steve, IMO, the pain serves as a wake up call. Where do I go when the pain comes? Search for more pleasure in the hope that the pain will go away? Or look to something deeper inside me to understand the pain and get Her to chase it away? As Swamiji says in his introduction to the Chandi :- "Every character mentioned in the book is within us: The forces which impel us to realize our own divinity, filling our lives with Love and Joy and a sense of meaningful purpose, as well as the forces which incline to diminish that perception." Further down he says : "The entire Chandi Pathah purports to be a commentary on the two Rg Vaidika hymns included at its beginning and end: 'The Ratri sukta , Praise of the Night of Duality.' and 'The Devi Sukta, Praise of the Goddess Who is Unity. We must dispel the darkeness of egotism in order to realize that 'I' am a divine being of Infinite Perception" Jai Maa Latha , "bingo_ridley" <bingo_ridley> wrote: > this earth, this place. the pain we must face. and with realization, > such as the divine mother ... such wings we are given to fly. > > then the knowing, all these beings are both perfect and broken. all. > all beings here. none are completely free of this. > > yet we have this vision, this potential, this aliveness. so many > good things. we go with the good things. and acknowledge the > limitations. this is discrimination in action, and perhaps, even > some form of teaching. it certainly is learning! > > peace, love to all as emanations of divine being. > > steve c. Guest guest
yes good latha that is such a nice response. run away to more stress, or look within, and continue god-inquiry even deeper? so well considered. making it real, so very, very real. steve c. , "Latha Nanda" <lathananda> wrote: > Steve, > > IMO, the pain serves as a wake up call.
