Guest guest
Namaste, Leon, It is so wonderful to read your post about starting Chandi, and your sharing your feelings about beginning. With those feelings, and how you are falling in love with Lord Shiva, I can only say, dive in! You will never regret it! It's an incredible swim, and if you keep with it, you will change your life in truly beautiful ways. As Latha noted in a previous post from a conversation with Swamiji, the Chandi gives us very definite ways (if we dig, if we fall in love) to bring ourselves to the Divine, back to the divine selves that we truly are. I began chanting Chandi about 6 or 7 years ago, and I began with the Devi Kavacam (of course, you can begin wherever you are drawn--that's the best), receiving the armor of the goddess before I ventured forth into the world. There were other passages I chanted every day as well, in the morning and in the evening, and eventually the chanting grew, and I fell in love more and more deeply; my fascination and digging, and receiving (Her blessings) never seems to stop. I am so happy you found Chandi in your favorite bookstore!--She must have wanted to find you!
