Guest guest
Namaste TD, I think you are referring to the Durga Mantra in the Durga Puja It is Om Hrim Shrim Dum Durgayai Namah. (Dum is pronounced dhoom ) Jai Maa Latha , "turtle dragon" <turtledragonscove> wrote: > In the song/mantra Ma sings what is the word between hoom and namaha? > om hrim shrim hoom ___? namah > > Thank you. > > -td
Guest guest
Ah Thank you! I was hoping I'd get an answer. I LOVE Durga! The other day we went to a learning circle that explores all different types of healing and meditation and things. My "daughter" had a cool experience in which she met Durga in her meditation (shamanic journeying so there was no 'guided' visualization, only the drum. Very powerful and surprising mine was as well). Seems fitting as Erin Loves tigers and that I have pictures of Durga up around the house. I feel so comforted to know that she is watching out for my little ones. -td , "Latha Nanda" <lathananda> wrote: > Namaste TD, > > I think you are referring to the Durga Mantra in the Durga Puja > > It is > > Om Hrim Shrim Dum Durgayai Namah. > > (Dum is pronounced dhoom ) > > Jai Maa > Latha > > > , "turtle dragon" > <turtledragonscove> wrote: > > In the song/mantra Ma sings what is the word between hoom and > namaha? > > om hrim shrim hoom ___? namah > > > > Thank you. > > > > -td
