Guest guest
Swamiji defines maya in three forms. 1. Maya as illusion where the many look with attachment to the many forgetting about the inherent divinity within, how the world sees the world (Shankya philosophy)-Gross Body 2. Maya as the embodiment of the Divine Mother, the relationship between the many and the One and the One and the many, how the world sees God and God sees the world (Tantra philosophy)-Subtle Body 3. Maya as the one eternal existence in harmony with its own self, the One looking to the One,how God sees Her/His self (Vedanta philosophy)-Causal Body The three forms of Maya are expressed in the 15 letter mantra known as Kaadi and can be found in the LALITA TRISHATI which is in the book THE GURU AND THE GODDESS. In the Lalita Trishati, the 300 verses in praise of the Beloved playful, beautiful Mother, Swamiji defines each syllable of the Kaadi mantra as it relates to Maya.It says in the Lalita Trishati that the recitation of these 300 names brings even greater fruit than the recitation of the 1000 names. The Lalita Trishati is a beautiful scripture and if you don't have alot of time the recitation of the 300 names is highly recommended. Many thanks to our playful, beloved, and beautiful Divine Mother!
