I reached the Mandir a little after 6 pm last Saturday evening. There

was a Kirtan/bhajan session in full swing lead by our senior disciple

Parvati. Maa and Swamiji hadnt yet arrived.

As appropriate for this month, and nearing Shiva Ratri , all the

bhajans were focussed on the

Wonderful ...

Beautiful ...

Supreme ...

Darling ...

Beloved ...

The Best ...

The Greatest ...

The One ...

Dunno what else to say ... please refer to 1008 names ...

Lord Shiva !!!!

All of us are singing and swinging and clapping and shaking !

And then Parvati started the song Om Namah Shivaya ! (yes , dear

readers, this is the very same song available at

http://www.shreemaa.org/media.htm that I requested your feedback on )

We were singing this song, when They walked in .

Maa and Swamiji looked pleased. Swamiji picked up a drum, turned to

face Parvati and kept to the beat. Maa too sang for a while and then

She stood up and began the Arati.

Ofcourse , we kept singing the sames verses over and over and over.

Parvati musta been hoarse, she was giving it all she got. The rest of

us went wild !

How to explain ? How to give vent to thoughts and situations that

must be experienced to be felt ? Words fail me.

Keeping our spiritual inspiration alive - gather with likeminded

people - Said Lord Ram to Shabari.

This too , this group, and all of us, sharing our information, our

bhava and help answer questions and experiences and chat ..... this

too is such a beeeeeutiful way of being with likeminded people.

Happy ShivaRatri , once again ! May Lord Shiva bless us all with the

desire to know Him more .

Jai Shiva !
