Chaitaneyaji - you are correct !

 

Today (22nd Feb this year) is Ramakrishna's birthday !

 

Here are a few things we can do to please Ramakrishna

 

1) Do the Kali Puja - Ramakrishna was a Kali devotee, and surely he

will be pleased with us if we pray to Her.

 

2) Offer his favorite Sweet - Jelabi - available in most Indian

stores if you cant prepare them.

 

3) Offer an eggplant dish - Thakur loved eggplants. I am going to

make Eggplant Pakoras ( breaded eggplant deep fried) and offer them.

 

4) Keep the bhav alive and read a book about him (Gospel/Great

Master) etc

 

5) Sing his Arati - Khandana bhava etc. Also chant 108 times "Om Namo

Bhagavate Sri Ramakrishnaya Namo Namah"

 

 

Anything else that we should do specifically for Ramakrishna ?

Anybody know ?
