Guest guest
The things we learn ! I have the privilege of being online most of the time and chat with a disciple who never ceases to surprise me with her vast storehouse of knowledge . She knows all that she has heard from Swamiji through the (y)ears. She is verily sRU(K)ti. Now sRu(K)ti was telling me that she always has copies of Swamiji's books around her office . And I thought that was such a cool idea. What better way to keep the bhav alive than to be surrounded by constant reminders of my sadhana. So I have established a "Bring your Chandi to Work" day at the office and that is going to be followed everyday. One of the benefits of bringing the Chandi to work - I get to sneak a peak at a coupla shlokas during lunch time or a break. Also I can challenge myself to memorize one shloka a day. As Swamiji said, and sRU(K)ti informed me, I am looking for the shlokas that call out to me . Anybody else have any neat tricks to keep their bhav alive? I'd be interested to know. No sRU(K)ti, I will definitely not go your route (Hope someone is 'Mark'ing my words) and refer to the Chandi in the car while driving . Who knows, maybe Brian is behind me ? Guest guest
Latha Nanda, So lovely to read your posts! I chant the Gayatri while preparing meals (even packing the kid's lunches--especially then!). I've been carrying Sahib Sahdu around with me. I read it every chance I get--it inspires my discipline. Lots of Mantra Japa. And when I can't seem to do anything else, I "breathe in" God. I just inhale Divine Energy and remember that I am on my way Home. Love and Light to all! Much Love, Lynne - Latha Nanda Tuesday, February 24, 2004 8:06 PM Bring your Chandi to Work day The things we learn !I have the privilege of being online most of the time and chat with a disciple who never ceases to surprise me with her vast storehouse of knowledge .
