Guest guest
I look at the picture on the group's home page and I see Chandi Maa and Swamiji gloriously calling out 'Jai Maa !' or so it seems to me. It is almost there ! The spring Navaratri begins on March 21st and for me a wonderful opportunity to focus exclusively on the Divine Mother. Can people share how they plan to observe Navaratri ? A few things I have noticed the disciples do - undertake a fast on those days - do a round of Chandi a day - read up on other books - Devi Gita, Cosmic Puja etc. I know Swamiji definitely fasts for 9 days. The fasting can begin on the first day and end on the ninth , or begin on the sixth and end on the 15th Poornima. Any body plans to fast ? Not me ... I will continue with my one Chandi a day . I am also thinking of spending the time leading upto Navaratri on studying the book as opposed to just chanting. So get to understand some of the shlokas, post some questions on the forum and share in that way. Also a good time to read up on DeviGita and Cosmic Puja. I know Swamiji said they were all interconnected. I have to find out from him more on that. Anything else we can do to prepare for Navaratri ? Anybody has more ideas and suggestions ? VICTORY TO THE DIVINE MOTHER !
