Guest guest
Hi, Will someone please explain what these are: bhupura, dvivalya, and pancha-mukhi Hanuman? I didn't know there was a cd for Hanuman puja, good to know. It goes on my wish list. I also have a Hanuman yantra and would love to learn more about it. Many thanks, Maureen - nityashakti Friday, February 27, 2004 12:13 PM RE: Hanuman Jai Hanuman, Birthday coming up: April 4th...Hanuman Jayanti...also a full moon that day...very auspicious! Swamiji, do you happen to know about the Hanuman Yantra? I have the form...in fact a couple of them, both with 8 petal lotus and different bhupuras...but, I can find no information about color of bhupura or central circle...one of the yantras has, also, a dvivalya....I am figuring that the colors would be close to Durga Yantra...oranges and reds, because of Hanuman's nature, but I'm not at all sure (especially since I once saw one of these yantras and the colors were red, white and blue!!!..but it was in a Western context so I wasn't sure about its accuracy). I am hoping to begin a yantra practice with puja leading up to his birthday...I am "planning" to make a pancha-mukhi Hanuman in the center (where the bindu is). Any information??? I'd love ANY information about Hanuman...I have the puja CD and book (thanks, Swamiji). Could you suggest any books about color relating to yantras? I have the Madhu Kanna book and some others...the color infomation, though, is difficult to find..I'm a painter so this is a wonderful practice for me. I also have another question...a few days ago, a puja was described to Ramakrishna, using the Shiva Puja (beginner's book) as the basis for a puja for Sri Ramakrishna. I was really struck by this and wondered if, for instance, I could do puja to Nityananda Avadhuta in this manner??? Thanks for you help.Namaste to all, sadhvi
