Guest guest
Sorry to hear about your father. Generally when a soul has left the body we recite the 1000 names of Vishnu. You can also recite Gayatri mantra. We pray for the soul to go higher and higher. You can light a candle also for the soul as you recite your prayers. , "rudran2" <stechiekov> wrote: > Dad died several days back. I feel daunted. Guest guest
Thank you Parvati. I have not opened the Narayan Vrat in a very long time, and recitation of Vishnu 1000 will be a first for me. The mala of Gayatri each day has worked wonders for me along with the flowers and incense. I'm on the mend. , "parvati_saraswati" <parvati_saraswati> wrote: > Sorry to hear about your father. > Generally when a soul has left the body we recite the 1000 names of > Vishnu.
