Guest guest
ok this is not haha funny, but you might enjoy it. i saw this on a one or two panel card and for some reason it struck home. the panel shows a wise man with a long beard on the top of a mountain ... the mountain is so high and steep there is only room for him to sit there ... at his feet is a spiritual seeker who had gotten all the way up there to ask a question ... the wise man kindly says, "what questions do you have my son?" there is a pause as the seeker gets up his nerve ... and then he says: "HOW TALL ARE YOU, AND WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE COLOR?" hmmm ... i really do think this is funny ... it points out, we have some question, but what is the question? in a way, we don't really know what our question is, and yet we want to "know." knowledge is what we desire, the knowledge that contains all answers and questions ... the various questions are formulations, some absurd, to help us come closer, and approach that source of knowledge ... god, self, truth ... pranams to swamiji and shree maa for helping us on this path, and providing this path to study, and to all of you here. steve c.
