Namaste Latha,

Swamiji has also connected the Bhagavad Gita and Chandi in

the following way:

The Bhagavad Gita is a statement of the goal which is to

have the perfect surrender.

Chandi is a definition of the path. Chandi tells us how to get

there. She actually takes us there. Gita tells us to surrender all of

our attachments. If someone asks how to do that, the answer is

Chandi. Gita tells us to be a devotee and do everything for God,

but the question is how? Chandi takes us there step by step,

teaching us how to sit, how to focus, how to breathe, and how to

exclude all delusion. Gita and Chandi work very well together.

well here i am posting again, but i wish to say, how this brings

things together so very well ... i have centered most of my

recent study -- prior to hearing of shree maa and swami -- around

the spiritual teachings of a baba who himself was mostly guided by

the gita. this includes the uddhava gita. always, how to

pragmatically apply the teachings is #1.

i think i should perhaps read the Chandi, maybe now is the time.

love,

steve c.

ps. any tips on to i get the posts from coming out with all the odd

line breaks?
