Guest guest
Some time ago, I can't recall exactly when, Swamiji came, it seemed (if memory serves me) kind of out of the blue, out with a comment along the lines of "It is inappropriate to influence another's aura." Now, for some reason, this comment has stuck with me. Most probably because I don't know what it means, and I like to know what things mean. So I'm asking, what does it mean? It seems to me that we, all of us, influence one another's auras all of the time: when we meet; when we touch; when we bless; when we pray for another; when we concentrate (purposefully or not) on someone with a specific attitude. Given all this, in what context, and in what manner is it inappropriate to influence the aura of another? Thank you, Swamiji. Chris
Guest guest
I wasn't there, so don't know the context of his comment. However, in the astral body = aura of another person are to be found the incipient karmas getting ready to manifest in that person's life. Karmas are the result of past actions. It is difficult and perhapse impossible to know why those karmas are coming to the person. If you interfere with them to 'help' the person, you are, in effect, saying that you know what is best for that person. By doing this, you may be taking on the burden of that persons karmas. They may come to YOU instead. Also you deny the person the learnings they may realize by experiencing those results. Who knows the root of KARMA? , "Chris Kirner" <chriskirner1956> wrote: > Some time ago, I can't recall exactly when, Swamiji came, it seemed > (if memory serves me) kind of out of the blue, out with a comment > along the lines of "It is inappropriate to influence another's aura." > > Now, for some reason, this comment has stuck with me.
