Before beginning Shiva Puja Beginner I should perform Prana Pratistha? Swamiji says : If you are performing Shiva Beginner Puja, no need for prana pratishtha. But if you are performing the Advanced Puja, you will want to perform regularly. The visarjana mantras are the same for Purnahuti on pages 430 - 431 in the Shiva Advanced Puja. On the top of page 432 it says visarjana mudra. Put the palm of the left hand out with the fingers straight, indicating for someone to stop. Put the palm of the right hand out with the fingers straight, facing you so the two hands are back to back. Interlace the baby ring, and middle fingers, and twist the hands so that the pointers are touching. Then pick up the flower and hold it to your chest. Latha will take a picture. Latha Says : A small video of the Visarjana Mudra was taken and is available in the Files section. Please look for Visarjana.wmv - for Windows , or Visarjana.mov - for Mac . Please let me know if you are having any issues accessing/opening these files. Namaste
