Swamiji outlined the 6 traits of a Brahmin:

1. to learn

2. to teach

3. to worship for yourself

4. to worship for others

5. to give what you can

6. to accept what is offered in love

Dear Steve,

First you learn to worship for yourself then you worship for others.

For example in your puja you would perform a certain sankalpa for

someone else and tyou would state the intention. Or if you were to

have a satsang at your own house or Mandir and were to perform a

group puja together.. At the end of the puja you can give blessings

and prasad that was offered in the puja. In this way you become the

priest of your own Mandir.

Also, in terms of accepting what is offered in love what you are

accepting an energy and exchange of love.

Hope this helps.
