Guest guest
Namaste Steve, Great question and one that I face often in my practices. IMHO, it is definitely a matter of getting our lives so organized that it revolves around our practices. Swamiji defines a Sadhu as an Efficient One, and keeps stressing the importance of getting our lives in order, putting Too Much and Too little in balance . It reminds of a conversation that I had with another Sadhu some years back - this is about doing a practice that made one resistant to cold and being able to pray in freezing climates. That Sadhu said, "it would be great if everyone had that constitution, but if not, put a sweater on and keep praying". The important thing is to keep praying - whatever it takes. So if it means getting a few extra minutes of sleep to help us pray better ....then that is the way to go. I pray that a day will come when we are so much in love with the Goddess that sleep doesnt matter. JAI MAA. Latha , "bingo_ridley" <sconnor@a...> wrote: > Here is my question.
