Guest guest
Below is a completely fanciful version of an imaginary scenario with Hanuman. I wrote it to explain, "why work?" ===== shiva says to hanuman, "please move that ocean 2 feet to the left." he does not blank out in terror hearing this. hearing this request is joy. he does not blank out when planning this. "i must apply weight on this side. planning this is joy." he does not blank out when moving the ocean. "applying this effort is joy." he does not think at the end "phew i am done!" in fact, he does not even think any of this is joy, there is only great peace that resides in the midst of both duality and formlessness. =====
Guest guest
Dear list, I am following (and FINALLY getting it clear!!Hooray!) the discussion about the calendar. Believe me, it has been driving me crazy for quite a while...Here is another question. Maybe someone knows the answer..when I ask at Mahalakshmi Temple, the priests are very mysterious and secretive. Does anyone know why Hanuman Abishek is always done on Amavasya??? I can't get a clear answer from anyone ...maybe one of our Indian brothers/sisters knows the answer to this one? best regards, sadhvi
